Aluminum Foil Saw Blade
An aluminum foil saw blade is a tool designed for cutting aluminum foil. It is typically attached to containers such as cling film boxes or aluminum foil cutters, allowing users to cut the aluminum foil to the desired length with ease.
The following is a detailed description of it:
Structural Features: It generally consists of a rack, cutting serrations, and pins. A row of fixing holes is horizontally drilled on the rack, and two or more pins are arranged inside these fixing holes. The rack can be fixed to the box body by pressing the pins. The rack has a length ranging from 8 to 70 cm and a width of 0.5 to 2.2 cm. It can be straight or folded at a certain angle (ranging from 0° to 90°) in the same plane along its middle part. The distance between adjacent serrations is 0.3 to 3 mm, and the depth of each serration is 0.3 to 2 mm. When the rack is folded at an angle, multiple convex teeth are formed in the middle of the cutting serrations to enhance the cutting effect.
Material: The rack can be made of steel, plastic, or other non-metallic materials. For some high-quality saw blades, the serrations are made of high-speed steel and undergo hardening treatment to improve hardness and wear resistance, ensuring a longer service life.
Functional Advantages: Compared with the traditional methods of cutting aluminum foil with scissors or tearing it by hand, the aluminum foil saw blade is more convenient to use. It can cut the aluminum foil quickly and neatly without causing uneven tearing. Meanwhile, the pin-fixing method ensures that the saw blade is firmly fixed, not easy to fall off, and has a long service life.
