Aluminum Foil Fixing Plug
The aluminum foil fixing plug is an accessory used to secure aluminum foil rolls. Its main function is to ensure the stability and integrity of aluminum foil rolls during packaging, transportation, and storage. Below is a detailed introduction to it:
Structural Design: A common packaging plug for aluminum foil rolls consists of a cylindrical main body. The outer diameter of the main body matches the inner diameter of the steel core of the aluminum foil roll it is intended to fit. The main body is also provided with a convex ridge that protrudes from the outer circumferential surface and forms a continuous ring around it. The diameter of the convex ridge ring formed by this ridge is larger than the inner diameter of the steel core of the aluminum foil roll. The convex ridge is usually located at the midpoint of the main body along the axial direction, and its cross-section is either rectangular or arc-shaped. In addition, the right edge of the outer circumferential surface of the main body may be provided with an anti-slip ridge to prevent the plug from slipping off the support bracket in the packaging box.
Working Principle: When in use, insert the aluminum foil fixing plugs into both ends of the steel core of the aluminum foil roll respectively, until the convex ridges press against the end faces of the steel core. In this way, the steel core plus the packaging plugs inserted at both ends can replace the original steel tube, stably supporting the aluminum foil roll in the packaging box. It plays a role in fixing and supporting the aluminum foil roll, ensuring that it does not move or get damaged during transportation and storage.
