90% of People Make Mistakes in Fire Escape—Firefighters Offer On-site Corrections
Today, professional firefighters came to Jinhui Aluminum Foil to deliver a special fire safety training session, teaching staff practical knowledge on fire escape and self-rescue.
During the training, firefighters cited real fire cases to explain common fire triggers such as electrical malfunctions and corridor blazes. They also pointed out safety hazards including clutter blocking fire exits and random electrical wiring.
Focusing on key fire escape rules, firefighters demonstrated critical moves in detail: bending low while covering the nose and mouth with a damp towel, identifying emergency exits, and avoiding elevators at all costs. They also guided staff through basic fire extinguisher operation step by step. Attendees were reminded never to retrieve valuables during fires or attempt reckless jumps, and to refrain from running upright through thick smoke. Essential emergency supplies including fire extinguishers, fire blankets, gas masks and window breakers should be kept on hand.
